Pommel bags are used to carry hand guns and small items including cattle tally books, ammunition, etc. A well made set of pommel bags has an accordion style gusset allowing the bags to neatly collapse flat, out of the way, when not in use or expand when needed to carry items. Some Pommel Bags can be made with handgun holsters mounted on one or both bags, under the flap, making handguns readily available to the rider. The bags can be decorated with tooling and nickel or brass spots.
